Co-designed High Performance 7X24 web hosting service. Built 160 web servers for live sites and development sites, configured load balancing and switching, and built test engine to drive load for high volume sites. The site handled over 1 million hits/hour during load testing and handled the equivalent of 30 Million hits/day peak during the Tyson/Holyfield fight. The sites running on the servers are Blockbuster, MTV, Viacom, Nickelodeon, Beavis-Butthead, Mtyson.com, Showtimeonline, VH1, Nick-at-Night, Sundancefilmchannel, Nickoz, and Viacomnewmedia. Co-designed a Directory Structure and Web Server Systems that encompasses all Phases of the Web Development process. Web development environment setup included Legato backup server, Unix portion of Sybase Servers, and some NFS.
